Concrete Truck Driver

Mixer Driver Tradestaff Christchurch are hiring for an experienced Mixer Driver to join a well-established ready-mix concrete team in Christchurch. This is a full-time, ongoing role where you’ll be delivering concrete to multiple sites, operating a mixer truck safely, and supporting yard operations. If you’ve got solid driving experience and enjoy hands-on, practical work, this is a great opportunity to join a respected local company.

Location: Christchurch
Start date: Immediate start available
Pay rate: $30–$35 per hour (paid weekly)

Your role will include:

• Delivering ready-mixed concrete safely to various job sites and providing excellent customer service
• Operating the mixer truck in accordance with LTSA regulations and completing daily checks
• Maintaining COF/RUC compliance and keeping the vehicle clean inside and out
• Completing all delivery documentation, logbooks, timesheets, and reporting any hazards or incidents
• Assisting with yard duties, loader work, wash-downs, and minor vehicle maintenance

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• A current Class 4 licence
• Previous experience operating a concrete mixer truck (preferred)
• Strong health & safety awareness and a customer-focused attitude
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently
• Physical fitness and willingness to assist with general yard operations
