Class 5 Driver

Experienced Class 4 & 5 Truck Drivers – Excavator Experience Preferred

Tradestaff Wellington is on the lookout for experienced Class 4 and Class 5 Truck Drivers to join our clients working across the Hutt Valley. These roles are ideal for drivers who are confident on construction sites and happy to be hands-on when required.
What you’ll be doing:

• Operating Class 4 & 5 trucks on civil and construction projects
• Driving Road Ranger (manual) gearboxes
• Supporting site operations, including excavator work (preferred)
• Carrying out general site and labouring duties as required
• Working safely around plant, equipment, and other trades
• Following site plans, traffic management, and H&S procedures

What we’re looking for:

• Full Class 4 or Class 5 licence
• Road Ranger experience (highly preferred)
• Excavator operating experience (advantageous but not essential)
• Proven site work / civil construction experience
• Strong health & safety awareness
• Reliable, punctual, and team-focused attitude
• Ability to pass a drug test and have a clean MOJ record
