Class 2 Driver

Class 2 Driver – Dunedin

We are looking for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join a well-established company specialising in the transportation of waste material. This is a temporary role with an immediate start available, based in Dunedin and covering from Timrau to Bluff.

Location: Dunedin 
Start time: 5:00 AM
Finish time: 5:00 PM
Weekly hours: 50–60 hours per week
Pay rate: $30 per hour (paid weekly)
Your role will include:

• Transporting waste material across the region
• Interacting with clients and visiting businesses as part of your daily tasks
• Forklift operations (license desirable but not essential)
• Maintaining a clean vehicle and ensuring safety compliance
• Adhering to road rules and ensuring safe driving
• Conducting vehicle inspections and basic maintenance

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• A Class 2 driver’s license
• Previous experience driving Class 2 vehicles
• Clean criminal record - MOJ will be required 
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• Forklift license (desirable but not essential)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with clients
• Good safety awareness and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
