Pay rate: $28–$30 per hour – paid weekly
What You’ll Be Doing
- Safely operate Class 2 rigid trucks while following New Zealand road rules and site requirements.
- Complete pre-start and post-trip vehicle checks and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Load, secure and unload equipment and other materials safely.
- Carry out manual handling and assist with physical tasks as required on assignments.
- Work alongside civil stabilising crews and assist with hands-on site duties.
- Complete relevant delivery documentation and proof of delivery where required.
- Communicate professionally with clients, dispatchers, site crews and other team members.
- A valid and current NZ Class 2 Driver Licence.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual lifting, loading and active site work.
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety, including fatigue management.
- WTR endorsements are a bonus and may be required for some client assignments.
- F endorsement/OSH forklift certification would also be advantageous where required by the client.
- A flexible attitude and willingness to work across different types of assignments and environments.
- Competitive pay of $28–$30 per hour.
