Class 2 / Class 4 Driver Operator
We’re looking for experienced Class 2 and Class 4 Driver Operators to join a reputable company based in Takanini.
These are hands-on, physical roles supporting specialist operations including jetting, vacuum loading, CCTV inspections, and hydro excavation. Manual transmission experience is a must, along with a strong safety focus and accurate paperwork.

Pay rate:
- Class 2 Driver Operator: $30.00–$32.00 per hour (paid weekly)
- Class 4 Driver Operator: $32.00–$34.00 per hour (paid weekly)
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating manual Class 2 or Class 4 trucks and associated equipment
- Carrying out jetting, vacuum loading, CCTV inspection, and hydro excavation work (role dependent)
- Completing daily paperwork and job documentation accurately
- Assisting with physical site work as required
- Following all health and safety procedures and site requirements
- Working closely with the wider team to meet job and client demands
- Full NZ Class 2 or Class 4 manual licence (manual transmission is a must)
- Experience with jetter, vacuum, CCTV, or hydro excavation trucks (advantage)
- DG endorsement an advantage (Class 2)
- Tickets such as SiteWorx, Confined Space, or First Aid an advantage
- Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on manual work
- Strong attention to detail, especially with paperwork
- Reliable, safety-focused, and a team player
- Monday to Friday work
- Rostered Saturdays (approximately 2 per month)
- Night shift and occasional out-of-town work may be required
- Typical hours around 6:30am–5:30pm, governed by logbook requirements
