Civil Construction Driver/Operator

Tradestaff Hawkes Bay is currently seeking an experienced Civil Machine Operator for an upcoming project in Wairoa, Central Hawkes Bay. As a part of our operations crew, you will be responsible for operating wheels, tracks, and rollers machinery efficiently and safely.
This is a long-term opportunity, with potential for permanent employment for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating plant machinery such as excavators, graders and moxy’s
• Collaborating with the team to execute projects according to plans and specifications.
• Adhere to health and safety practices to create a secure working environment.
• Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks effectively.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Wheels, Tracks, and Rollers Operator
• A valid and up to date WTR endorsement
• Valid Class 2-4 license is highly advantageous.
• Valid Visa (if applicable) or rights to work in New Zealand
• Willingness to undergo and pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and best practices related to equipment operation.
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform tasks in a demanding outdoor environment.
