Commercial Carpenter – Central Christchurch
Tradestaff Christchurch is seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Carpenter to join our team on long-term commercial projects in central Christchurch. If you have solid experience in formwork and framing and take pride in your work, this is a great opportunity to secure consistent work on quality builds.

Location: Central Christchurch
Start: ASAP
Pay rate: $32–$35 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role

• Complete commercial carpentry tasks to a high standard
• Read and interpret plans while working to NZ building codes and site safety requirements
• Work independently or as part of a crew to meet project deadlines
• Coordinate with other trades to keep the build running smoothly
• Identify and solve on-site issues as they arise

What You’ll Bring

• Level 4 Certificate in Carpentry (preferred)
• Proven experience on commercial construction projects
• Own tools and reliable transport
• Two solid work references
• Strong communication skills and a good team attitude
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
