You will be working for a reputable construction company with a proven track record of delivering high-quality residential projects. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Trade Qualified Carpenter to join our team for a 6-month residential building project in Ahuriri, Napier.

Position Overview: As a Trade Qualified Carpenter with Tradestaff, you will play a key role in a 6-month residential construction project, working on building homes from the ground up. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of all carpentry tasks, maintaining high-quality standards, and supervising an apprentice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute all aspects of residential carpentry, including framing, roofing, siding, and interior finishing.
• Lead and guide an apprentice to ensure their development and adherence to safety protocols.
• Interpret and follow blueprints, plans, and specifications to meet project requirements.
• Utilize your carpentry skills and experience to deliver high-quality workmanship.
• Collaborate with the project manager and other team members to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain and organize your own tools and equipment for daily tasks.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Trade qualification in carpentry.
• Previous experience in residential construction, from foundation to completion.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans.
• Strong carpentry skills and proficiency with various carpentry tools.
• Commitment to safety and the ability to lead by example.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Own set of carpentry tools.
