Carpenter

Finishing Carpenter:
We’re looking for experienced finishing carpenters to join a busy team delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects in central Hamilton. If you take pride in precision and detail, this could be your next great opportunity.
Location: Central Hamilton
Start date: Early January
Pay rate: $32–$36 per hour (paid weekly)

You’ll be responsible for:

• Installing skirtings, architraves, trims, and mouldings
• Hanging and fitting internal and external doors and hardware
• Installing windows, reveals, sills, and liners
• Fitting kitchen cabinetry, wardrobes, shelving, and joinery
• Laying timber, laminate, or engineered flooring
• Building and installing stairs, handrails, and balustrades
• Completing exterior finishing (decking, weatherboards, fascia, soffits)
• Carrying out accurate measuring, scribing, and detailing
• Reading and working from plans and specifications
• Ensuring all work meets NZ Building Code and quality standards

We’re looking for candidates with:

• NZ trade qualification (or proven finishing carpentry experience)
• High attention to detail and strong workmanship
• Reliability and a solid work ethic
