Trade Assistant – Electrical (Solar Farm) | Waikato

Tradestaff Hamilton is hiring Solar Labourers / Trade Assistants for a major solar farm project in the Waikato.

This is a long-term role through to May 2026 — perfect for reliable workers who want consistent hours and solid experience on a large-scale project.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with solar panel installation
• Pull and lay electrical cable
• General labouring and site clean-up
• Manual handling

Pay  $28 per hour

Location Site is centrally located within commuting distance of:
Morrinsville (20 mins), Te Aroha (24 mins), Hamilton (49 mins), Thames (51 mins), Huntly (53 mins), Cambridge (44 mins)

Requirements

• Valid photo ID (essential)
• CV + 1 recent work reference
• Minimum restricted licence + reliable transport
• Physically fit
• Willing to work outdoors in all conditions
• Must pass drug & alcohol testing
