Are you looking to kickstart your electrical career and gain hands-on experience on real job sites?

We’re on the lookout for multiple Trade Assistants to support qualified electricians on large-scale solar farm projects across Hawkes Bay.
 
Location: Hawke’s Bay
Start date: January 2026
Pay rate: $28 per hour (paid weekly)

 
Your role will include:

• Mounting and fitting electrical solar components and fixtures
• Handling tools, materials, and equipment for electricians
• Maintaining a clean and organized worksite
• Following all health, safety, and electrical compliance rules
• Assisting with basic troubleshooting under supervision
   

To be successful, you’ll need:

• Completion of an electrical pre-trade course (preferred)
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and safety
• Prior hands-on experience in a trade or assistant role
• Can pass a pre-employment drug test
• Full clean drivers license
