Textile Manufacturing Technician

Tradestaff are seeking a Textile Manufacturing Technician to join us for an immediate start!

Responsibilities:

• Precisely cut carpets to required dimensions and shapes.
• Uphold safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free environment.
• Edge rugs to meet customer specifications and package them according to standards.
• Manage systems and documentation for accurate production details.

Requirements:

• Computer literacy, you will be recording activity and utilising digital systems to ensure accurate production details.
• Industry experience in upholstery, sewing, or similar field. Experience operating machinery.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Attention to detail as the role requires precise handling.
• Ability to work within a team achieving shared outcomes.

Successful applicants must:

• Pass a pre-employment drug test
• Have 2 ready work references
• Have your own vehicle with a restricted or full license

You may also be required to submit a criminal history check with the Ministry of Justice.
 
Please note that our work is mainly industrial and therefore for Health and Safety reasons you do need a good command of English.
