Tradestaff Waikato are seeking experienced Stainless Steel Welders to join our team for various fabrication projects. If you have expertise in stainless steel welding, particularly in dairy, food grade, and high-quality fabrication, this is your opportunity to showcase your skills!

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricating and welding stainless steel components, including for dairy and food-grade applications
• Ensuring compliance with ASME 9 welding standards and certifications
• Reading and interpreting detailed technical drawings and specifications
• Performing clean, precise, and tidy welding with an eye for detail and quality
• Maintaining a safe and organized work environment

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience with stainless steel welding (MIG/TIG)
• ASME 9 welding certification (highly desirable)
• Experience in dairy and food-grade welding standards
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong focus on clean, tidy, and accurate welding
• Own tools and PPE (preferred)
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Full NZ driver’s licence (or restricted)

Pay Rates:

• From $30 per hour, depending on experience and certification
• Rates can go up to $40 per hour based on skill, experience, and certification

Important:

• Must provide two work references
• Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• ASME 9 certification is preferred (if not held, must be willing to work towards it)
