Project Manager
We’re looking for a skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead complex civil construction projects in a rural area just outside of Gisborne.
You’ll be responsible for managing infrastructure builds from start to finish—delivering them on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring junior staff and contributing to future project wins.
Location: Rural area outside of Gisborne
Start date: End of February
Pay rate: $120K+ per year

Your role will include:
- Developing and managing detailed project plans
- Coordinating subcontractors and suppliers
- Monitoring progress, identifying risks, and implementing solutions
- Reporting to senior management and clients
- Ensuring all health, safety, and environmental standards are met
- Supporting the tendering and proposal process
- Leading and mentoring junior project staff
- A degree or equivalent in civil engineering or project management
- 5+ years’ experience delivering civil infrastructure projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with project management software
- Sound knowledge of construction methodologies, risk management, and contracts
