We are a well-established residential building company seeking a reliable and skilled Leading Hand to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with proven leadership experience who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The Role Involves:

• Leading and motivating small on-site teams
• Overseeing daily site operations and ensuring quality workmanship
• Maintaining a safe work environment and enforcing H&S protocols
• Coordinating with project managers and subcontractors
• Hands-on carpentry and problem-solving on site

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Leading Hand or Senior Builder
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Health & safety focused with sound knowledge of NZ site safety practices
• Reliable, self-motivated, and a team player
• Must have your own tools and reliable transport
• Trade qualification preferred but not essential if experience is solid
