We have general labouring positions available processing rock samples in a lab at McRaes mine, just inland from Palmerston.
These are not glamorous roles but they do offer big hours, free transport and a four day week!

It is a noisy and dusty environment so you need to wear full head cover breathing apparatus.
You also must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.

- Put rock and dust samples through a series of processes
- Use machines to crush samples
- Bag and tag samples
- Move heavy trolleys loaded with trays of samples around the site
Some of the benefits:
- 12 hour shifts 5.30am to 5.30pm and 5.30 pm to 5.30am
- Free bus transport from Dunedin and back (travel time unpaid)
- Four days on, four days off roster with alternating day and night shifts
