Are you an experienced joiner who thrives on crafting bespoke pieces in the workshop and bringing them to life on-site? We have a well respected client in Christchurch, looking for a skilled joiner who can balance both workshop fabrication and on-site installation. This is a rare opportunity to work for a company that is dedicated to quality, precision, and innovation across a range of residential and commercial projects.

Why Join Us?
  • Diverse Work Environment: Enjoy a dynamic role where you’ll spend time in the workshop and out on-site, ensuring no two days are the same.
  • Trusted Client: Join a company with an excellent reputation for high-end joinery, known for their craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
  • Career Progression: Whether you’re looking to hone your craft further or step into more responsibility, there’s room for growth here.
  • Supportive Team: Be part of a collaborative and skilled team where your work is valued, and you’ll have the chance to learn from the best in the business.
  • Competitive Package: We offer a salary that matches your skills and experience, along with other benefits that make this role one to seriously consider.
What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Workshop Fabrication: Craft high-quality, custom joinery pieces to exact specifications, using your hands-on skills with a range of tools and materials.
  • On-Site Installations: Take your creations to the next level by installing them with precision and care, ensuring they fit seamlessly into client projects.
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot any challenges during installation or fabrication, using your knowledge and creativity to get the best results.
  • Liaise with Clients and Team: Work closely with both the internal team and clients to ensure expectations are met, providing insights and solutions as needed.
  • Maintain High Standards: From your workshop bench to the final installation, ensure every piece is crafted and installed to the highest standard of workmanship.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven experience in both joinery fabrication and installation, ideally across a range of residential and commercial projects.
  • Proficiency with all standard woodworking tools and techniques, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to read technical plans, blueprints, and drawings, and translate them into high-quality work.
  • Strong work ethic with a focus on delivering top-notch results, whether in the workshop or on-site.
  • Full driver’s license and reliable transport, as this role involves regular site visits.
Preferred But Not Essential:
  • Trade qualification in joinery or carpentry.
  • Experience in high-end or bespoke joinery.
  • Forklift license or workshop machinery experience (ideal but can be trained).
This role is perfect for a versatile and experienced joiner who enjoys seeing projects through from fabrication to final installation, making a real impact on the finished product. If you’re looking for a stable position where your skills are recognized and rewarded, this could be the perfect fit.
