Hammer Hand - Waikato

Tradestaff Waikato are looking for motivated hammer hands with their own basic tools to join our team. If you have an apron with hand tools, an impact driver, and a skill saw, we want to hear from you!
We have multiple positions available across a range of clients, offering variety and opportunities for growth. Every job is different and will be matched to your skills and experience.

Current roles available in:

• Residential and Commercial Construction
• Civil Construction
• Fencing
• Demo
• Civil Carpentry – bridges, overpasses, and cyclic maintenance of barriers, structures, and signage

We’re keen to hear from people who:

• Are physically fit and strong
• Own basic tools (impact driver, skill saw, and hand tools)
• Have their own car and full NZ driver’s licence
• Have a mobile phone and access to email
• Are available to start immediately
• Are open to early morning starts (as early as 5am)
• Can work 40+ hours per week if needed
• Are clear communicators (both written and verbal)
• Have a solid understanding of Health and Safety
• Enjoy being part of a team and working outdoors in all weather

Pay Rates:

• Rates start from $28 per hour, depending on client, skill, experience, and assignment
• Job rates can go up to $32 per hour based on duration and individual tooling held
• You will always know the pay rate before accepting any placement
• We strive to offer the highest pay rates we can

Important to note:

• You must hold a FULL New Zealand Driver’s Licence
• You must be able to provide two previous work references for reference checks
