Maintenance Gardener

Tradestaff Mt Wellington is looking for Maintenance Gardeners to work across a variety of sites in South and East Auckland.
From keeping public spaces tidy to maintaining commercial grounds, you’ll be part of a team that takes pride in creating clean, well-presented outdoor environments.
This is a hands-on, outdoor role where you’ll see the results of your work every day — ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, being outside, and keeping spaces looking their best.

Location: South & East Auckland, Auckland
Start date: Immediate start available
Pay rate: $27.00 – $29.00 p/h, paid weekly

What you’ll be doing:

• General garden and grounds maintenance across multiple sites
• Lawn mowing, edging, trimming, weeding, and pruning
• Assisting with basic landscaping and site tidy-ups
• Using hand tools and equipment to maintain outdoor areas
• Keeping sites clean, safe, and well-presented

What we’re looking for:

• Previous gardening, landscaping, or grounds maintenance experience (preferred)
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
• Minimum restricted driver licence with reliable transport
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and get stuck into hands-on work
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
