Our client, Clearwater Golf Club, an award winning Unique Urban Recreation Oasis is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their existing team in Christchurch.
About the role
With a recent improvement to their systems, you will be joining a tidy ship who pride themselves on a positive culture and relaxed atmosphere. Reporting to and working closely with the General Manager, you will be responsible for the administrative, financial, and commercial aspects of the business.
The successful individual will be able to demonstrate their experience in management accounting and analysing business operations at a high level. They will be confident in ability to work within a small but strong team to support all corporate and project-based activities.
This role is to ensure the business has the critical financial information to assist in the success of the club. You will be required to prepare and interpret accurate financial reporting, annual budgeting, and forecasting. Management of all aspects of working capital and systems management as well as ensuring compliance with all statutory and taxation obligations.
With a bar, a retail shop and membership arrangements delivering individual income streams, this role has a lot of variety and will in turn offer you some very rewarding and unique commercial activities.
Our client is open to full time or part time candidates. To be considered as full time, the role will require you to get stuck into some data entry tasks. You will be required to work mainly on site, however there is flexibility, for at times, to work from home.
