We are on the hunt for our next influx of skilled Fabricator/Welders to work on our clients fleet of marine vessels. We are recruiting now to onboard for work starting in the next 2 months.
If you have previous experience working on large merchant ships, or relevant experience welding and fabricating thick plate steel, we want to hear from you.
ABOUT THE ROLE - This is an awesome opportunity to assist with the maintenance and refurbishment of some of NZ's most iconic vessels.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Fabricator/Welders with 5+ years experience, the welding will be a mixture of TIG / MIG / MMA / Stick. Trade qualifications preferred but not essential if you are able to provide proof of experience. Hot work permit preferred but not essential, Confined spaces tickets preferred but not essential.
Prior to employment you will have to complete a weld test that will be sent for x-ray quality assessment and inspection.
