Plant Dispatcher - Admin & Hands On Role

We have an opportunity Frankton to work as dispatcher and yard hand in very busy construction supply business. This an ongoing job and has strong potential to become permanent for the right candidate. You would be required to organise deliveries and ensure a functioning site in a busy warehouse/dispatch environment.

There are often early starts and long days as our client needs to capitalise on good conditions, on the flip side, there can be slower days/times where the conditions are not ideal and you would be required to be involved in warehouse/plant maintenance and cleaning. This ain't for the faint hearted!

The mix of skills we are looking for is as follows -:

• Minimum one year of dispatch, warehouse operations or busy call centre experience
• Computer literate and able to use a job booking/CRM on the fly whilst answering calls
• Strong evidence of good communication skills in a commercial setting
• Strong evidence of excellent organisation skills in a commercial setting
• Evidence of construction knowledge

Prerequisites include -:

• Two recent work references who can attest to your communication skills, organisational skills and work ethic
• Evidence of your computer literacy using database/CRM in a busy environment
• A full driving licence
• You would need to submit to drug and alcohol testing
• Also need to submit for Ministry of Justice criminal history screening

The ideal candidate would have a 'wheels' or "forklift" endorsement and experience operating a loader. Training can be organised as the role grows and develops.
