A growing and well-established workshop in Waikanae is expanding its team and currently seeking skilled Automotive Electricians and Diesel Mechanics. We have multiple positions available—both in their busy workshop and for mobile service work across the region.

1. Workshop-Based Role – Diesel Mechanic / Auto Electrician

Work within a well-equipped, professional environment alongside a solid team of experienced tradespeople. This role involves diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles and machinery, from light commercial to heavy diesel.Mobile Service Role –       2.Diesel Mechanic / Service Technician
Hit the road with a fully equipped service vehicle, providing responsive on-site diagnostics and repairs for clients in the Kapiti/Wellington region. You’ll need to be self-sufficient and confident working independently.

What We're Looking For:

• Trade-qualified Diesel Mechanic and/or Automotive Electrician
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills
• Solid understanding of electrical systems and fault-finding (for auto electrician roles)
• Full NZ driver’s licence (HT desirable for mobile role)
• A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable and able to work unsupervised (particularly for field service roles)
