Electrician

Tradestaff is seeking Qualified Electricians to join our team for a range of commercially focused electrical projects commencing in January 2026. Our clients are gearing up for a busy year of commercial builds, refurbishments, and infrastructure upgrades across Wellington, and we’re looking for skilled sparkies ready to hit the ground running.
If you’re a qualified, capable electrician with solid local experience, we want to hear from you.
Requirements:

• Current EWRB Registration
• Valid Practising Licence
• Minimum 2+ years of electrical experience in New Zealand (commercial experience strongly preferred)
• Strong understanding of NZ electrical standards, codes, and compliance requirements
• Ability to read and interpret plans
• Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently or within a team
• Must pass a drug test and hold a clean MOJ record

• Commercial electrical installations and upgrades
• Fit-outs, wiring, containment, lighting, and switchboard tasks
• Troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs
• Working alongside commercial contractors, builders, and site managers
• Projects located across the Wellington region
