Demolition Worker

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced demolition laborer to undertake a variety of tasks involved in the demolition of buildings and structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of safety regulations and proven experience in the demolition industry.
Responsibilities:

• Perform demolition of buildings, structures, and other sites as directed.
• Operate hand and power tools, including jackhammers, sledgehammers, and concrete saws.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of scaffolding and safety barriers.
• Safely remove debris and ensure proper disposal in compliance with environmental regulations.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and project managers to meet project specifications and deadlines.
• Identify and safely handle hazardous materials, including asbestos and lead.
• Conduct site clean-up and preparation for new construction.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 years of experience in demolition work.
• Proficiency in operating demolition tools and heavy machinery.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and plans.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform labor-intensive tasks.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Asbestos Awareness Training (preferred).
