Class 5 Driver

Tradestaff Hawkes Bay are currently seeking a Class 5 driver for a Line Haul, night shift role.

Are you an experienced driver with a strong track record of safety and efficiency?
The look no further! Tradestaff Hawkes Bay is currently seeking an enthusiastic Class 5 driver to join our team.
Ongoing contract work also available. 
Requirements:

• Valid & clean NZ Class 5 license
• Willing to undergo & pass a pre-employment drug test
• Dangerous Goods endorsements 
• Road Ranger experience is essential
• High commitment to Health & Safety

 
Responsibilities:

• Transfer of goods/ products under clients discretion
• Performing pre/ post inspections and maintenance checks on the trucks
• Ensuring the safety of yourself, the public, and goods during transport
• Maintaining effective communication with dispatchers, supervisors etc. to ensure smooth operations
• Use of electronic log book
