We are currently seeking Production Line Assistants – Egg Graders to join a busy farm-based operation located just outside Masterton. This is a hands-on labouring role working within a production line environment, focused on grading and handling eggs to strict quality standards.
About the Role
You’ll be working on your feet throughout the day in a production line format, inspecting, grading, and handling eggs. The role requires consistency, focus, and a strong attention to detail to ensure product quality is maintained at all times.
This position suits someone who is comfortable with repetitive tasks, enjoys physical work, and can maintain concentration over long shifts.

Key Responsibilities
- Grading and inspecting eggs on a production line
- Identifying and removing damaged or substandard eggs
- Packing and handling eggs carefully to maintain quality
- Following farm procedures and health & safety requirements
- Assisting with general labouring tasks within the production area
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive work
- Good eye for detail and quality control
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to full workdays
- Comfortable working in a farm/production environment
- Willingness to work weekends when required
- Ongoing Monday to Friday work with weekend opportunities
- Consistent hours: 7am – 5pm
- Early February start
- Work close to Masterton, outside the town centre
