Aluminium/Stainless Steel Welder

Our client is one of NZ largest Engineering company’s and they are on the hunt for a Stainless Steel Fitter/Welder to join their team.

They are super busy and are in need of a highly skilled engineer to start as soon as possible! Experience is necessary and tickets are an advantage. This role is predominately Stainless steel welding/fitting, so experience in this is a must!

Duties may include:

• Pipe Fitting and welding (TIG & MIG)
• Site installation of mechanical equipment and pipework
• Fabrication and welding of certified vessels
• General fitting and machining and other engineering duties 

Non-negotiables:

• Be Trade qualified 
• Have a minimum 3 years experience in light and heavy stainless steel welding
• Be able to read and understand mechanical drawings
• Have a strong health and safety focus
• Be competent in use of workshop equipment
• Hold a current NZ drivers licence minimum of class 1
