About the Role
We’re on the lookout for a qualified and experienced Water Technician to join a respected civil construction company delivering high-quality projects across Tauranga and the wider Bay of Plenty region.
You’ll be part of a well-established, family-owned team known for their work in subdivisions, utilities, earthworks and civil infrastructure — where you’ll take ownership of vital water infrastructure installations and maintenance.

What You'll Be Doing
• Installing and maintaining watermains and civil drainage infrastructure
• Performing pressure testing, chlorination, and mechanical fitting
• Interpreting plans and working closely with engineers and site managers
• Ensuring high standards of health & safety and workmanship

What We’re Looking For
We’re after a hands-on technician with a strong track record in water infrastructure, ideally with:
• PE pipe welding tickets
• Connexis Water certifications
• Registered Drainlayer certification
• Plumbing tickets
• Proven experience in:
         - Watermain installation
         - Pressure testing & chlorination
         - Mechanical fittings & infrastructure connections
• Solid knowledge of civil drainlaying practices
