Job Title: Engineering Manager - Maintenance Fitters

Location: South Auckland

Overview: We’re seeking an ambitious Foreman/Engineering Manager to lead a small team of maintenance fitters, focusing on conveyor systems. This hands-on role involves 90% practical work and team facilitation, with 10% dedicated to administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive and motivate your team to achieve high performance.
• Implement ideas-focused strategies to enhance maintenance processes.
• Utilize your years of experience to solve problems effectively.
• Ensure efficient maintenance of conveyor systems and equipment.
• Communicate directly with the owner and provide regular updates.
• Maintain accurate records and reports; must be computer savvy.

Qualifications:

• Trade qualified with proven experience in maintenance management, ideally with conveyor systems.
• Strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach.
• Must pass a drug and alcohol test (DA).
• Full, clean driver’s license required.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• 2 recent work references.
• Clean Criminal History.
