Roofer

Tradestaff Christchurch is currently looking for a commercial roofer with a solid background and a strong work ethic. If you're ideally qualified, have at least 2+ years of hands-on roofing experience, and know your way around a commercial site – we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing
- Install, repair, and maintain a range of commercial roofing systems
- Operate Elevated Work Platforms (EWP) as required
- Work safely and confidently at heights following all H&S guidelines
- Assess roof conditions and provide solutions for repair or replacement
- Work with a variety of roofing materials – including metal, tile, asphalt, and membrane
- Collaborate with other trades and site managers to keep projects on track
- Maintain tools and gear in great condition

What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of proven roofing experience (commercial preferred)
- Ideally trade qualified (but not essential if experienced)
- Comfortable and competent working at heights and using EWPs
- Strong understanding of modern roofing methods and materials
- Ability to read site plans and technical drawings
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in various conditions
- Solid attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
- Required to have Working at Heights certification
- Required to have EWP certification
- Full license and reliable transport
- Two recent work references
