This position will begin through Tradestaff on a temporary casual contract, with the potential to become permanent with the client for the right person. About the Role:
We are seeking experienced Residential Painters to join our team in the Waikato region. This position will begin through Tradestaff on a temporary casual contract, with the potential to become permanent with the client for the right person. Key Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience in residential painting.
- Tools: Must have your own basic painting tools, including brushes and rollers.
- License: Full NZ driver’s license required, with the ability to drive a manual transmission.
- Background Check: Clean criminal record, with a Ministry of Justice check to be conducted.
- Drug & Alcohol Testing: Must be able to pass drug and alcohol tests.
- References: Two references from previous employers required.
- Qualifications: Working at heights and EWP qualifications are advantageous.
- Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and strong.
- Work Rights: Must have the right to work in New Zealand.
- English Skills: Must have a good level of English and be able to follow plans.
- Availability: Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with early morning starts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
