Locksmith Technician

We’re looking for a skilled, reliable Locksmith with strong technical ability and excellent customer service skills. If you enjoy problem-solving, take pride in your workmanship, and want to work with a company that values safety, respect, and development — we want to hear from you.

Location: Central City, Christchurch
Start date: Immediate start available
Pay rate: $30–$35 per hour (paid weekly)
Experience: 3+ years locksmithing experience required

What you’ll be doing:

• Installing, repairing, and servicing a wide range of residential and commercial locks
• Key cutting, rekeying, and working with master key systems
• Diagnosing and resolving security and lock-related issues efficiently
• Responding to onsite service jobs and call-outs
• Providing professional, friendly customer service
• Ensuring all work meets high safety and quality standards

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 3 years’ proven locksmithing experience
• Strong knowledge of modern locking systems and security hardware
• Confidence using hand and power tools
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload
• Full NZ driver’s licence (preferred)
• Reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic
