Loader Operator

Loader Operator – Civil Work in Yaldhurst or Rangiora
We’re looking for an experienced Loader Operator to support civil operations in either Yaldhurst or Rangiora. This role requires confidence behind the controls, the ability to load trucks efficiently, and the work ethic to hit the ground running. If you’ve got solid machinery skills and enjoy working in a high-paced, outdoor environment — we want to hear from you.

Location: Yaldhurst or Rangiora, Christchurch
Start: Immediate start available
Pay rate: $27–$30 per hour (depending on experience and licences)

What you’ll be doing:

• Operating loader machinery to move materials on-site
• Loading trucks safely and efficiently
• Performing basic daily maintenance checks on equipment
• Assisting with general labouring tasks as needed
• Maintaining clean and safe work areas
• Following all site safety procedures
• Communicating clearly with truck drivers and site supervisors

Hours:
7:30am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday

You’ll need to bring:

• WTR endorsement
• Class 1 and 2 licences (ideal)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience operating loaders
• Good communication skills and team attitude
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
• Reliability, physical fitness, and readiness to work outdoors

What you’ll get in return:

• Monday to Friday hours, no weekends
