Laboratory Technician - Seaview, Lower Hutt

Full-time, Monday to Friday | Up to 3 months | Start ASAP

We’re looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our client’s team in Seaview, Lower Hutt. This is a great opportunity for someone with a lab qualification or currently studying towards one — perfect for a University student looking for summer work.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for:

• Collecting and analysing samples including wastewater sludge and centrifuge by-products
• Recording results accurately and in a timely manner
• Following Health & Safety and laboratory protocols at all times
• Using lab equipment and computer systems for data entry and reporting

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Health and Safety conscious
• Knowledgeable in laboratory protocols and computer literate
• Accurate, organised, and a good communicator
• A quick learner with an interest in biology, chemistry, and all things science
• In possession of a full driver’s licence and own reliable transport

Mechanical knowledge would be a definite advantage. What’s on Offer
