Kitchen Cabinet Assembler
We’re looking for multiple kitchen cabinet assemblers to join a busy Hamilton-based team. If you’ve got experience building custom cabinetry and a good eye for detail, this could be the role for you.
Location: Hamilton, Waikato
Start date: Immediate start available
Pay rate: $26–29 per hour (paid weekly)
About the role:
You’ll be assembling high-quality custom kitchen cabinets in a workshop environment, with some on-site installation work as needed. Work is varied and suited to those with a background in cabinetry or joinery.

- Assemble custom kitchen cabinetry from plans
- Use hand and power tools to complete precise joins and finishes
- Work with pre-cut materials and hardware to client specifications
- Maintain a tidy and safe work environment
- 1+ years of experience as a kitchen cabinet assembler, and/or
- NZ Certificate in Joinery (Level 2 or above)
- Minimum of a restricted NZ driver’s licence
- Own reliable transport to get to work
- Strong attention to detail and safe working habits
- Variety of workshop and on-site assembly work
