Industrial Painter – Hawke’s Bay (Multiple Sites)

We’re looking for an experienced Industrial Painter to join a busy engineering crew working across various sites throughout Hawke’s Bay. You’ll be involved in prepping, priming, and applying industrial coatings on structural steel and engineered components, both in workshop and on-site environments.

What you’ll be doing:

• Surface preparation including grinding, sanding, and blasting
• Applying primers, topcoats, and protective coatings to spec
• Working safely on active industrial and construction sites
• Following quality procedures and job documentation
• Supporting the wider fabrication and installation teams where required

What you’ll need:

• Proven industrial or structural steel painting experience
• Knowledge of spray, roller, and brush application
• Ability to read job specs and follow coating systems accurately
• Solid understanding of workplace health & safety
• Full driver’s licence and ability to move between sites
• Reliability, good communication, and a strong work ethic
