Industrial Electrician

We’re looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team! If you have a passion for working with electrical systems and want to contribute to a dynamic and safety-focused environment, this could be the perfect role for you.

Location: Manukau
Hourly Rate: $40+ (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical maintenance & repairs on production machinery and facilities
• Install, test, and commission new electrical equipment & control systems
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot electrical or automation issues
• Support scheduled shutdowns or project work as required

To be successful, you’ll need:

• NZ Trade Practicing License (L4) with at least 2 years of industrial experience
• Experience with AB or Siemens PLCs, HMI & SCADA knowledge
• Strong background in VSD / Motor Control, including fault finding and repairs
• Familiarity with industrial sensors / switches and wiring diagrams
• A solid understanding of machine safety and control systems
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings
