Tradestaff are looking for an Estimator to work with our client to continue growing their already well-established business. Our client's focus is to provide a high-quality service to their clients in the greater Wellington Region.
The role will see you responsible for pricing projects, tracking progress against the quoted price, variations and forecasting future workload. You will provide accurate project descriptions with clear definitions in scope, methodology and technical expertise to the Trades Team to enable them to complete the tasks required to a high and efficient standard. You will need to price and win sufficient jobs to ensure team productivity is met while delivering margin objectives whilst ensure client service expectations are being managed 100% of the time.
The ideal candidate will have a background in Estimation or Quanity Surveying of plumbing, drainage, and/or roofing construction work and able to prove the following skills:

- Trade Certified
- A high degree of computer literacy
- Effective time management
- Effective Communication skills including negotiation and conflict resolution
- Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally
- Attention to detail in pricing
- Great at documenting discussions and agreements with clients and suppliers
- Display agility, accuracy & resilience under pressure
