Tradestaff have a client with an exciting large scale project in the Christchurch CBD commencing January 2024.  
 
We are looking for Electricians with background knowledge and experience with the following (but are not limited to):

• examining blueprints, wiring diagrams and specifications to determine sequences and methods of operation
• commercial electrical experience on multi level projects
• measuring and laying out installation reference points
• selecting, cutting and connecting wire and cable to terminals and connectors
• using electrical and electronic test instruments to trace and diagnose faults
• repairing and replacing faulty wiring and defective parts
• positioning and installing electrical switchboards
• connecting electrical systems to power supply
• testing continuity of circuit
• installing, testing and adjusting electric and mechanical parts of lifts
• installing, testing and commissioning solar photo voltaic (PV) power generation systems

 
Ideally, you will be or have:

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience
• Trade qualifications preferred however scope and length of electrical experience may substitute for the formal qualification
• NZ EWRB Limited or a Practising License
• Your own tools
• Own reliable transport
• At least 2 work references
• 100% commitment to Health & Safety
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test

 
Minimum pay range $32-$38 depending on experience
