Drainlayer

Tradestaff are seeking an experienced Drainlayer with Civil Construction experience to join for an immediate start!

Requirements:

• Proven experience and confidence in civil construction, particularly in drainage and concrete work.
• Hold a WTR endorsement and possess a full driver’s license.
• Own reliable transport for commuting to and from various job sites.
• Hands-on approach with strong reliability and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• Immediate availability to start work.
• Experience in formwork would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

• Perform drainage installation and maintenance according to project specifications.
• Execute concrete works including preparation, pouring, and finishing.
• Interpret construction plans and blueprints to ensure accurate implementation of drainage systems.
• Operate machinery and tools required for excavation, backfilling, and compaction.
• Maintain a safe and organised work environment adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with the construction team and communicate progress and issues as needed.

You may also be required to submit a criminal history check with the Ministry of Justice.
 
Please note that our work is mainly industrial and therefore for Health and Safety reasons you do need a good command of English.
