We’re looking for an experienced Drainlayer to take charge of drainage and water reticulation work across varied civil construction sites in Hawke’s Bay.
This role offers a great mix of hands-on work and leadership responsibilities—perfect for someone confident running sites and leading a team.

Location: Various sites across Hawke's Bay
Start date: 19th January 2026
Pay rate: $35 per hour depending on experience (paid weekly)
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

• Drainage and water reticulation set-out and installation
• Leading and managing a drainage team on-site
• Operating machinery (excavators, trucks, rollers, etc.)
• Coordinating with contractors and other workers
• Running site works to meet project deadlines
• Completing app-based health and safety documentation
• Following all health, safety, and company policies

We’re looking for someone with:

• Minimum 5 years’ drainage experience
• Drainlaying qualification or extensive experience
• Class 1 licence (or higher)
• WTR endorsement
• Excavator and civil construction machinery experience
• General civil construction background
• Physically fit, reliable, and hardworking

This role offers:

• 40+ hours per week
• Good pay
