Job Title: Class 4 Civil Water Tank Truck Driver
Location: Taupō, New Zealand


Position Overview:
As a Class 4 Civil Water Tank Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in supporting various civil construction projects. Your main responsibility will be to transport water for construction sites, including dust suppression, soil compaction, and other essential tasks. You will be expected to operate water tank trucks safely and efficiently while adhering to all company policies, traffic regulations, and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Class 4 water tank truck in a variety of environments.
• Deliver water to civil construction sites as directed, ensuring timely and accurate service.
• Maintain a clean driving record and ensure all paperwork (e.g., fuel logs, delivery forms) is completed as required.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues.
• Assist with loading and unloading of water and other necessary supplies as required.
• Adhere to all safety procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and complying with site-specific safety guidelines.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with site supervisors and other team members.
• Ensure that trucks are kept clean and in good working condition.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 4 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience operating water tank trucks in a civil construction environment is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail, with an understanding of traffic regulations and safety standards.
• Good physical fitness, as the role may require manual handling.
