We are looking for a reliable Class 4 driver to join one of our long standing Tradestaff clients based in Frankton Hamilton.  This role is all about delivering steel and stainless steel products around Waikato and Auckland. You will start and finish each day from the Hamilton factory.  Our client specialises in manufacturing high quality precision steel and stainless tube. They have built a strong reputation through quality work and dependable service. This is a family owned business with strong family values. Even with continued growth they stay people focused and well connected to their staff and the wider community.

What we are looking for

• Experience in a similar driving or delivery role would be great but we are also open to people looking for a change
• Full NZ Class 4 drivers licence
• Experience with gantry cranes hiab or forklifts is ideal but not essential, full training and certification will be provided for the right person
• Strong focus on health and safety
• Good level of physical fitness
• Good attention to detail and confidence with paperwork and delivery documentation
• Able to pass a pre employment drug and alcohol test
• Two recent driving references

Key duties

• Preparing product for dispatch
• Moving stock within the yard and warehouse
• Dispatching and delivering product to customers
• Local and regional deliveries across Waikato and Auckland
• General stores and warehousing duties
