Based out of Takanini, this role offers projects across Auckland and other regions of New Zealand — ideal for someone flexible and keen on variety.
Location: Takanini, Auckland (projects across Auckland and other NZ regions)
Start date: Immediate start available
Pay rate: $32–$33 per hour (paid weekly)
About the role Driving Class 4 manual trucks and supporting civil projects with hands-on labouring duties.
You’ll be involved in transporting materials and equipment and assisting on site across a range of locations.

About the role Driving Class 4 manual trucks and supporting civil projects with hands-on labouring duties.
You’ll be involved in transporting materials and equipment and assisting on site across a range of locations.
Key responsibilities:
- Operate Class 4 manual trucks to transport materials, equipment, and supplies
- Operate Hiab equipment for safe lifting, loading, and unloading
- Assist with site preparation, material handling, and general civil labouring
- Carry out pre-start checks and ensure vehicles and equipment are well maintained
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all health and safety requirements
- Support civil works such as hydro-vac excavation, utility exposure, cleanup, drain and sewer cleaning, and emergency response
- Complete regular equipment maintenance and inspections
- Full NZ Class 4 manual licence
- Hiab licence preferred, or Hiab experience with willingness to obtain licence
- Proven experience driving Class 4 manual vehicles
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Strong understanding of health and safety
- Willingness to travel outside of Auckland for project work across New Zealand
