Class 2 Driver

Tradestaff are seeking a Class 2 Driver to join our team for an immediate start!

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle to transport goods to clients across South Auckland.
• Ensure timely and efficient delivery of products while adhering to delivery schedules.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety and compliance standards.
• Handle loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper securing and handling procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service, including courteous interactions with clients during delivery.
• Ability to lift up to 20kgs loading and unloading the truck. 

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a Class 2 Driver, preferably in a delivery or logistics role.
• Familiarity with South Auckland roads and routes, with a strong sense of direction.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

• Pass a pre-employment drug test
• Have 2 ready work references
• Have your own vehicle with a restricted or full license

You may also be required to submit a criminal history check with the Ministry of Justice.
 
Please note that our work is mainly industrial and therefore for Health and Safety reasons you do need a good command of English.
