Carpenter

We are currently looking for multiple Experienced or Qualified Carpenters for full-time permanent and temporary opportunities on the West Coast to start immediately or in the New Year.

You will be working with a strong established company that prides itself in high quality builds and has a proven commitment to health and safety.

We are looking for skilled and motivated individuals who can work on residential retro fit tasks from Hokitika through to Greymouth.

The successful applicants will be based in Westport or Greymouth so some travel is required. Our client is also open to applicants who would consider short or long-term assignments as well as commuting from other areas in the South Island.

The clients current project they are looking to deliver could span the next 4/5 years.

What you will need:

• Carpentry/Building trade qualification or proven experience
• Residential site supervisor experience
• Experience guiding and training apprentices
• A high standard of workmanship
• Contactable references
• Positive attitude and proven reliability
• Problem solving and attention to detail
• Valid NZ drivers’ licence and Tools
