About the Role You’ll be working across a range of residential and commercial projects with some of Taupo’s most respected building companies. No two days will be the same — one week you may be standing frames on a new architectural home, the next you could be installing finishing details, tackling formwork, or assisting with structural builds.
Whether you’re trade-qualified or have years of proven experience, we want carpenters who bring energy, initiative, and a problem-solving mindset to every site.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Reading and interpreting construction plans
• Framing, formwork, boxing, and general building tasks
• Installing joinery, cladding, and interior finishing
• Working alongside builders, apprentices, and site managers
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
• Delivering quality workmanship with a great attitude

We’re Looking For Carpenters Who:

• Are trade-qualified OR have solid, proven carpentry experience
• Understand NZ building standards and site safety
• Can hit the ground running on a busy site
• Have their own hand tools (we can help with PPE)
• Hold a Site Safe / ConstructSafe (or are willing to obtain one)
• Show reliability, communication, and pride in their craft
