Carpenter and Formwork Carpenters

We’re on the lookout for experienced carpenters to join active sites in Gisborne.
If you’re a skilled tradie who’s confident with formwork, foundations, and a wide range of carpentry tasks, this is your chance to get on board with a staunch Kiwi business offering solid, ongoing work.

Location: Gisborne
Start date: 1st December
Pay rate: $35 per hour wages or $54 per hour (contractor rate), paid weekly

Your role will involve:

• Carrying out formwork and foundation preparation
• Building boxing and shuttering frames for concrete pours
• Mixing and pouring concrete accurately and efficiently
• Installing plasterboard, drywall, and flooring
• Completing roofing work and structural repairs
• Erecting and working from scaffolding, ladders, and EWP at heights
• Operating a wide range of carpentry tools and equipment safely
• Working around active plant and heavy machinery
• Following all safety protocols on-site
• Applying trade knowledge and skills with professionalism

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• A relevant carpentry trade qualification
• EWP and Working at Heights certification
• Clean driver’s licence
• To be based in Gisborne or able to secure local accommodation
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
