Carpenter

We’re looking for multiple experienced, trade-qualified carpenters to join a national civil contractor for the rebuild of a cyclone-damaged bridge in Wairoa. If you’ve got formwork experience and want to be part of a high-performing team on a major infrastructure project, we want to hear from you.
Location: Wairoa, Gisborne
Start date: Immediate start available
Pay rate: $32–42 per hour (paid weekly)
Your day-to-day may include:

• Concrete formwork for bridge construction
• Framing and structural carpentry
• Interpreting plans and specifications
• Collaborating with civil crews on-site
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship

We’re looking for people who have:

• NZ Trade qualification with 5+ years’ experience
• Based in or able to travel to Wairoa with accommodation
• Relevant tickets beneficial – EWP, Site Safe, Confined Spaces, Working at Heights
• Own tools and reliable transport
• Positive attitude and commitment to high-quality work
• Physically fit and ready for full days on site
