A position has come available for a Tyre Fitter in Greymouth, West coat of the South Island.

Experiencing on Mining Equipment is beneficial with competitive remuneration to reflect this experience. 

The successful candidate would be responsible for managing the tyres for our fleet. These duties include;

• Diagnosing tyre/wheel/rim conditions and faults as required
• Perform regular tyre inflation pressure checks, adjust and report to site managers
• Tyre condition reports
• Rim assemblies
• Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of equipment and non-conformance
• Setting and maintaining high housekeeping standards
• Schedule and perform regular tyre inspections
• Source technical information from the relevant avaliable reference manuals, technical bulletins and computer based systems
• Ensure all work documentation is accurate, correct and signed off

This position would suit a self managing person with good time management and an ability to priorities jobs based on urgency. The fleet has tyre sizes ranging from 20' to 63' so comfortably on a range of tyre sizes is essential. 

You will be provided with transportation options to get to work and travel allowances are included when appropriate. You will be a valued staff member with opportunities for progression.

There may be some assistance with relocation costs for the successful candidate. 

Pay rate ranges from $33.00 - $45.00 per hour dependent on experience.
